Basic Principle of Piston Pressure Gauges
Pressure is defined as the ratio of force applied to a given area. The core component is a highly accurate piston system assembly, which generates the required measurement pressure by loading weights onto the assembly.
Both the piston cylinder and piston rod are made of tungsten carbide. This material features extremely low deformation under pressure and a low thermal expansion coefficient, ensuring excellent linearity of the piston cross-section and delivering outstanding instrument accuracy.
The instrument measures pressure directly by definition (P = F / S). Combined with high-quality tungsten carbide piston system materials, it achieves extremely low measurement uncertainty and long-term stability with a validity period of more than 5 years.
Product Introduction
The IQS960-X Manual Piston Pressure Gaugeseries includes three models: manual vacuum piston pressure gauge, manual pneumatic piston pressure gauge and manual hydraulic piston pressure gauge.
It is mainly used for calibrating 0.16, 0.25 and 0.4 class precision pressure gauges, pressure transfer standard gauges, verification reference gauges, pressure transmitters and other instruments. Its stability, repeatability and accuracy are widely recognized in the industry.
I. Features of Gas Piston Pressure Gauge
Complies with JJG 1086-2013 Verification Regulation of Gas Piston Pressure Gauges. Uses high-purity nitrogen as the medium, eliminating the viscosity of lubricating oil and greatly improving sensitivity and accuracy. Sensitivity can reach 10 mg, with simpler and safer operation.
Equipped with a touchscreen LCD display system with temperature, humidity and pressure display functions.
Multiple pressure unit conversion: MPa, kPa, psi, bar.
New structure for the measurement section — no need to flip the piston head for positive/negative pressure measurement; simply swap the pressure/vacuum bell for more convenient and faster operation.
Multi-stage filtration device prevents fine dust from entering the piston and affecting measurement accuracy.
Safety valve on the body — automatically exhausts if excessive air intake occurs due to operational errors, protecting the piston system from damage.
Vacuum and positive pressure switching valve — can connect both a vacuum pump and a nitrogen cylinder simultaneously, eliminating the need to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect tubing.
Latest structure for fine adjustment — reliable sealing; the lead screw does not extend during pressure adjustment, saving space.
Aluminum alloy base — lightweight, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
Wear-resistant and rod-breakage-proof design — wear-free rod-breakage-proof piston system with rolling contact at limit positions, ensuring zero wear on the piston disc.
3.5-inch color touchscreen for piston display — shows piston rod displacement, on-site temperature and humidity.
Two M20×1.5 pressure ports, configurable with shut-off valves for leak-tightness testing.
II. Features of Liquid Piston Pressure Gauge
Complies with national metrological verification regulations JJG 59-2022 Piston Pressure Gaugesand JJG 99-2006 Weights.
Wear-resistant and rod-breakage-proof design — wear-free rod-breakage-proof piston head with rolling contact at limit positions, ensuring zero wear on the piston disc.
Aluminum alloy housing — sturdy and stable.
400 mL oil cup with built-in oil contamination filter. The gauge connection pipeline feeds directly into the oil cup through a blowdown filter, ensuring clean oil enters the piston system and preventing dirty oil from causing blockage, damage or even piston rod seizing and breakage.
Piston displacement data acquisition uses two infrared distance sensors, with custom-designed circuitry for data conversion and display on the LCD — making displacement observation more convenient and accurate.
3.5-inch color touchscreen for piston display — shows piston rod displacement, on-site temperature and humidity.
Oil circuit system with blowdown function — simpler and more convenient maintenance and cleaning.
Piston display section with touch-sensitive power button and displacement calibration button.
Two M20×1.5 pressure ports, configurable with shut-off valves for leak-tightness testing.
