Application Requirements

  1. Measurement standards and supporting equipmentwithin the applied calibration and measurement capability scope, with valid verification/calibration certificates.

  2. Personnel qualifications:A measurement standard responsible person holding a Registered Metrologist professional qualification or engineer-level or higher technical title; at least two calibration personnel per measurement standard meeting the requirements of metrology laws and regulations.

  3. Sites and facilitiessuitable for the calibration environment.

  4. Complete documentation:Application Form for Measurement Standard Assessmentand Technical Report on Measurement Standard.

  5. Sound management systemsin place.

Document review is typically completed within 20 working days. Upon passing the assessment, the Measurement Standard Assessment Certificateis issued within 10 working days, with a validity period of 5 years.
